This Privacy Policy explains the nature of data handled by the Streakly mobile application ("the App"), developed by Ulrik from Sosika.

1. Data Collection and Storage (Local Only)

Streakly is designed to be a private, local-only application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or sensitive user data outside of your device.

• Data Processed: The only data processed by the App is the information you actively enter to use its core functionality, which includes habit names, start dates, streak counts, check-in timestamps, and basic app settings (e.g., notification preferences, themes).
• Storage Location: All user data listed above is stored locally on your mobile device (using browser local storage/IndexedDB).
• Data Transfer: No data is ever transferred, transmitted, or sent off the user's device to any server, third party, or developer.

2. No Third-Party Services or Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) or advertising SDKs that would collect data.

• The App does not share your local data with any third parties.

3. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Given that the App collects no personal information externally, we are in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

4. Security

While all data remains on your device, we are committed to ensuring that your data is secure. The data is protected by the security measures of your mobile device's operating system. Since the data is never transmitted, it is not exposed to the risks of external server breaches.

5. User Control and Data Deletion

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over its management and deletion.

• Data Deletion: Deleting the App, or clearing its app data/storage via your phone's settings, will permanently delete all locally stored streak and habit data. No further action is required by the user to delete data, as it is never held by the developer.
